Application Support and Programmer

We have an immediate opening for a Application Support and Programmer to support our Manufacturing Activities in Roseville, MI. This position will develop and improve enterprise-wide programs and systems (SharePoint, Epicor, Bartender, Web development) to support accounting and ERP operations. Well-qualified candidates will have the following skills: Programming experience in VB.net, C# and SSRS; MS Excel Programming including macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.; Experience in Visual Studio Development environment; ERP Experience - Epicor Preferred, Bartender label development; Accounting Background Preferred; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stake-holders; Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems. A Day in the Life: · Design software solutions and architecture based on user needs and project requirements. · Thoroughly test software to identify and fix bugs and ensure functionality. · Identify and resolve errors or defects in the code. · Create documentation for the software, including user manuals and technical specifications. · Maintain existing custom applications. · Test and install updates to existing accounting applications. · Install new software modules as needed. · Provide ERP technical support for the shop floor thru the accounting team. · 50% User Interaction/Problem Solving/Documentation · 50% Programming · Support compliance with RCO Quality Policies. · Support corporate continuous improvement initiative. · Any other duties as assigned.
